NetSuite Consulting & SuiteScript Development

I'm an independent NetSuite consultant and SuiteScript developer for small and mid-sized businesses. Custom applications, integrations, and reporting, built by someone who has run his own companies on ERP and warehouse systems he designed and wrote himself. I don't work for or partner with NetSuite, and I take no commissions or kickbacks - so the advice you get serves your interest and nobody else's. Today that work moves through an AI delivery pipeline I built, so a change that ties up a traditional team for weeks ships in days.

An abstract ERP dashboard with orders, inventory and charts glowing on a laptop screen

A NetSuite developer who has lived on the other side of the screen

Most NetSuite work gets handed to an admin who knows the menus or a far-off shop that bills by the ticket. I designed and built fully custom ERP and warehouse management systems from scratch to run two manufacturing companies of my own, long before I ever touched NetSuite. I know what these systems have to do because I depended on mine every day. I've also bought off-the-shelf when buying was the smarter call. I have no affiliation with NetSuite and take no commissions, so when a stock feature or a cheaper tool already solves your problem, that's what I'll tell you to use. I don't bill for custom code you don't need.

That means I scope honestly, I don't over-build, and I move fast. With an AI team I've personally trained, the proof of concept is usually finished software, in production in days instead of the weeks or months a traditional firm quotes. Real numbers: a purchasing system a traditional team estimated at roughly 240 hours shipped in about 35, and a full warehouse management system came in at 127 hours against an 840-hour estimate. You get senior-level judgment at a fraction of the cost, and because we go from problem to working solution in days, we catch what's wrong while it's still fresh. Less risk, fewer surprises.

What I do in NetSuite

NetSuite itself is a Boeing 747: enormously capable, and it takes trained pilots. Most of what your team needs day to day isn't another 747 - it's a bicycle, or sometimes an e-bike, or even a Honda Civic. That's what I build, from a single suitelet to a full custom module, on the SuiteCloud platform you already pay for: no new vendor to manage, no per-seat license to buy. Same account. Real software.

A clean order-to-ship flow: order, pick, ship connected along a single path

Virtual NetSuite Administration

An always-on admin for the steady stream of small asks: new users and roles, saved searches, reports, dashboards, and everyday configuration. Email a request and it gets done, for a fraction of a full-time hire.

Custom SuiteScript 2.1

Suitelets, user event and client scripts, Map/Reduce and scheduled scripts, RESTlets. Real applications that run inside NetSuite: warehouse and delivery tools, buyer dashboards, purchasing workflows, and approval flows, built to match how your team actually works.

SuiteQL, saved searches & reporting

The data you can't get to today, surfaced. I write tuned SuiteQL and saved searches, build the dashboards and workbooks your buyers and managers need, and replace month-end guesswork with reconciled numbers. On the live distribution account, that work flagged $192,527.88 of phantom inventory for a clean, accountant-approved write-down.

Integrations & SuiteTalk REST

NetSuite talking to ecommerce, point-of-sale, shipping, and third-party systems through SuiteTalk REST, token-based auth, and middleware. Inventory, orders, and accounting that stay in sync in real time instead of by spreadsheet.

Customization & SDF deployment

Custom records, fields, forms, roles, and workflows, version-controlled and deployed through the SuiteCloud Development Framework so changes are safe, repeatable, and reversible, not clicked together and forgotten.

Rescue & optimization

Inherited a half-finished customization, a slow scheduled script, or a partner who left or who isn't delivering? I stabilize what's broken, fix governance and performance problems, and get the account back under control before it takes the business with it.

Tablet-ready warehouse tools

Native NetSuite suitelets that actually work on an iPad on the warehouse floor: responsive layouts, large touch targets, and paperless, just-in-time printing for picking, receiving, and shipping.

Recent NetSuite work

A few of the NetSuite systems I designed and built for a single multi-brand wholesale-distribution client, each on a tight budget, each on the account they already owned.

A unified purchasing system

Buyers were juggling demand from open sales orders, low-stock replenishment, and manual requests across separate screens. I built one NetSuite app that pulls every demand source into a single buyer workflow, with vendor rules, unit-of-measure conversion, backorder reduction, and a draft-to-PO approval flow. A traditional team estimated roughly 240 hours; it shipped in about 35.

Local-delivery routing, from scratch

A distributor built around its own delivery fleet had no system to run it. I built one in NetSuite that generates routes nightly, assigns stops to zones and vehicles, and drives the whole pick-pack-deliver lifecycle from a tablet on the warehouse floor.

A paperless warehouse floor app

Operations ran on paper, with pick tickets printed in advance and frequently lost. I consolidated several separate shipping platforms into one tablet suitelet for picking, receiving, and shipping, and took the warehouse paperless with just-in-time printing.

Running a storefront too? I also handle Shopify development and NetSuite and Shopify integration, so inventory, orders, and accounting stay in sync across every channel.

The DreamSight difference

It's the pipeline, not the headcount

NetSuite work is the real test of this: lots of small, exacting changes that pile up fast. The pipeline is how I clear them faster than a billable-hours team can.

Solving a business problem well used to take a room of people (analyst, architect, developers, a senior reviewer, QA, DevOps) and the meetings and handoffs between them. I know that model from both sides: I scaled a consulting firm that worked exactly that way, and I ran my own companies on the systems I built myself. So I replaced the room with a delivery pipeline. Thirty years of judgment scopes and reviews every request, and a team of AI agents I built and trained does the volume in between.

It's a real pipeline, in production today, not a slide deck about one. And it isn't tied to any one platform: the same process delivers on whatever systems you already run. The result is simple. I ship in hours what a traditional consulting team takes a week to deliver.
